Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Miami;Miramar,Florida is a Florida based culinary arts school that is associated with the famed Paris cooking school, Le Cordon Bleu. The school offers a Diploma in Le Cordon Bleu Pâtisserie and Baking and an Associate of Science degree in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts. Students receive quality training from experienced chefs and the programs are designed to help students prepare for culinary careers.[1]

History

Established in September 2003, Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Miami began offering classes to students in May 2004. The association with the Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts - Paris makes the history of the college go as far back as 1895. Le Cordon Bleu’s name can be traced back to the 16th century where members of the Order of the Holy Spirit were awarded a medallion that was suspended from a Blue Ribbon, Le Cordon Bleu, by King Henry III. In the 19th century “La Cuisinere Cordon Bleu”, a collection of recipes, was published and received great success. Following the release of the recipe collection, the publishers established a culinary school under the Le Cordon Bleu name and have created a highly coveted culinary arts training program.[1]
